Participate in the Drawing for a Patron Saint!

Every year on New Year's Day, a drawing of Patron Saints for the New Year takes place in the convents of the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy.

From the Diary we know how important this was for Saint Faustina. She desired that  Someone from Heaven accompany and support her throughout the whole year:

In the morning during meditation, there arose within me a secret desire that the Eucharistic Jesus be my special Patron for this year also, as in the past. But, hiding this desire from my Beloved, I spoke to Him about everything else but that. When we came to refectory for breakfast, we blessed ourselves and began drawing our patrons. When I approached the holy cards on which the names of the patrons were written, without hesitation I took one, but I didn't read the name immediately as I wanted to mortify myself for a few minutes. Suddenly, I heard a voice in my soul: I am your patron. Read. I looked at once at the inscription and read, “Patron for the Year 1935 - the Most Blessed Eucharist.” My heart leapt with joy (Diary, 360).

With the Patron Saint, each sister receives a prayer intention and a message. Priests, collaborators, members and volunteers of the “Faustinum” Association, friends and members of the group “Sanktuarium Bożego Miłosierdzia” on Facebook can participate in the drawing. Since January 1, 2017, visitors of our website in Poland: can participate in the drawing. In the first year of the launch, over 120,000 Internet users took part in the drawing.

To receive a Patron Saint for 2018, register in the drawing on our Sisters' website. Our Sisters in Poland will email the Patron Saint - drawn by lot - to you. It will also display on your screen once yoo submit the form data.
