His Land Retreat

His Land Retreat is a ministry of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy in Lakeville, Massachusetts. The Sisters run a retreat house situated in scenic woodlands next to Loon Pond.

The retreat house is open to private retreatants, looking for silence and prayer. It can accommodate a group of ten people overnight. The accommodations feature 4 single and 3 double rooms, 2 shared bathrooms, a conference room and 2 fully equipped kitchens.  The Most Blessed Sacrament is reserved in the chapel. Holy Masses are offered in the nearby parishes.

From Boston by car:

• Get on I-93 S toward Quincy
• Take exit 4 for MA-24 S toward Brockton. Continue onto MA-24 S
• Take exit 22A to merge onto I-495 S toward Cape Cod
• Take exit 14 to merge onto MA-18 S/Bedford St toward Lakeville/New Bedford
• Continue onto Bedford Street
• After 3 miles, turn right onto Precinct Street
• Turn right onto Loon Pond Road (dirt road)

From Boston Logan International Airport by Metro and Commuter rail:

• Take Silver line (bus) from any Terminal (free) to South Station (Red line) - see Metro map here
• At South Station, follow signs for Red Line Ashmont/Braintree, street, Commuter Rail, Bus Terminal, Silver Line Nubian
• Follow signs for Commuter Rail - All trains
